I have no idea what was going through my head when I decided it would be a good idea to buy this. Probably because it was so cheap, only 92p when it usually costs £7.95. This German product is a box with a Backgammon mat, and 30 white and plain chocolate discs (15 of each), as well as three plain chocolate dice.

I was wondering how to go about eating it. Should I play a game with myself and eat the pieces? In the end, I just sat there and ate them, one by one. 30 pieces is a lot, I had to space it out in the end, and due to the plain nature of these it wasn’t really something you could consume at once.

In the end, for 92p I had a decent chocolate fix. £7.95 is crazy expensive, for what is essentially one game of Backgammon and then a few leftovers. I don’t even know how to play the game so there was no use in me trying, it’s an interesting idea though and I’d love some chocolate chess, but at a much cheaper RRP.
