18 chocolates in this big ol’ box. It’s only 400g as usual but there’s a massive amount of variety in this, and no real concentration like the other boxes. This also has a few flavours that weren’t in the other boxes. Let’s dig in.

One of the chocolates that surprised me at the beginning was the Alpini. I originally thought it was chocolate that had bloomed but it turns out that it’s covered with some sort of light powder (I assume, they don’t mention it). Or at least I hope so. The Viennese Truffle was painfully sweet, with chocolate, mousse and then a sugar coating. Did it really need sugar? Sugar coated chocolate. Really now? Very unnecessary.

The Cherry Truffle was nice, it wasn’t a particularly powerful cherry kick but it had an actual cherry in there with some truffle, and it has quite an authentic taste. For the most part this box was just as good as the others, with the fairly typical truffle offers, some fruity ones and nutty ones. At this stage it had become a bit of a cookie cutter deal but it’s still a great box, lots of lovely stuff, but the Viennese Truffle sure did confuse me a bit. Needless.

Overall though I would recommend this over the other 3 boxes if you like all kinds of chocolate. They’re all great collections and it’s all down to your tastes of course, but this has a bit of everything and as such is the one to have.
