Maestrani Dark 72% Bar

It’s been awhile since my previous Maestrani reviews, but as usual, I’ve failed to get excited about the dark chocolate bar, hence why I’ve waited so long before finally deciding to have it.
The clue is in the title with this one, it’s a 72% cocoa solids dark chocolate bar, and like all other Maestrani bars, it’s organic and fairtrade.
There’s really not that much to say about this bar. I’m not a big enough fan of dark chocolate to give it an in depth review, I don’t like the stuff enough to start detecting hints of berries and all that jazz. It just tasted like fairly regular dark chocolate to me. Pretty wasted I guess, but hey ho.

Perhaps you should save your dark chocolates and review 2 or 3 at a time so you can compare them. It also makes it easier to find all the “fruit notes, spice” etc – I learnt this from tasting coffee. One by itself and you go “yeah cofee” try 2 in a session ansd you start to taste the differences.

anabels – That’s actually a rather good point, I’ll keep it in mind for future ventures into the dark side.
