Milka Wasser Bar

Wasser, or water, is almost quite literally one of the flavours with this bar. How does that work, you ask? Because this is milk chocolate and…watermelon, that’s right. Watermelon and chocolate.
When I first started this blog I had a milk chocolate and melon Aero bar from Japan, and that was pretty weird. Watermelon and chocolate though, this is hard to imagine. Not only that though, but this bar also has little pop rock things in the bar, so not only are you eating what’s no doubt a strange tasting bar, but your mouth will be fizzing and crackling the entire time. Or at least mine will.
And that is exactly how it works. Popping a piece into my mouth, for the first few seconds it’s all watermelon, then it starts to get quite creamy and the watermelon fades into the background, and then it’s all cream and chocolate. The entire time I have little pieces popping between my teeth, and my mouth is indeed, fizzing and crackling while I eat it.
It’s so…weird, for lack of a better word. Watermelon and chocolate doesn’t sound right, especially with such a creamy bar, but it works. I dislike watermelon by itself but this worked well for me, the flavour combination was great, and the pop rocks, despite being so strange, just added to the whole experience. Definitely not for everyone but worth a try just to say you did.
