Milka Gold Bar

And here’s our gold medal winner – a Milka milk chocolate bar filled with milk cream and orange bits. Or to be more specific – Alpenmilch schokolade mit sahne-créme-fullung und kandierten orangenstuckchen.

I assumed that’s candied orange pieces then, or candied orange peel. Not a bad thing at all, I had a Cote d’Or bar before with candied orange peel and it was great. This bar rests upon a gold medal, so it’s the best, right? I hope so anyway.

It certainly tastes like it. The orange bits give it a real authentic flavour. They’re spread out very well throughout the bar, and give the whole thing a very rounded, orangey and chocolatey taste. It’s not too creamy, but it’s all mixed very well. A gold medal winner? I’m not too sure about that, but I can never seem to find any fault with Milka’s bars, it’s just another winner.

    Sounds tasty, Terry.
I wish I had the Money to get some of the stuff you review down to NZ
