Milka Erde Bar

Erde, or Earth, is one of Milka’s elemental bars (though I’m only reviewing 2 of the 4). Another slightly strange range to go with the gold, silver and bronze one. This is another crocant bar, except instead of the milk cream and crocant, this is nougat cream and crocant.

The crocant on the front here looks a lot more sugary and caramelised, as opposed to yesterday’s more authentic looking nuts. This is more of an observation rather than anything else, as it’s not something I can really criticise (I wouldn’t even know where to begin doing so).

The taste difference between this bar and yesterday’s one is that this is a lot less milky and creamy, and a lot more chocolatey and nutty. When I think of nutty bars these days, hazelnut instictively comes to mind and for good reason, they taste good and are used a lot. This is walnut though and it tastes different, but still very good in its own way. Both crocant bars are good, and it’s introduced me to a lovely new flavour. Shame we don’t really have anything similar here in England.
