Another part of Thornton’s continental selection bars, which I’ve reviewed a fair few of in the past. This is white chocolate with a layered centre of lemon mousse and truffle, and then finished with a milk chocolate decoration. Lovely!

The packet looks pretty nice, and there’s a picture of the bar on the front. The bar has some fairly interesting ingredients, with butter being one of the highest ones there. Other ones include cocoa butter, double cream and various forms of milk. A very creamy bar indeed.

I called this bar lovely sounding and that’s really what it is. Delicate white chocolate with a light, tangy lemon mousse. The milk chocolate really is little more than decoration, the main taste here is lemon, all lemon baby, and it’s darn good. There’s not really much else to talk about here, it’s a simple formula and it works well. Lemon mousse gets two thumbs up from me.
