Another strange, fruity alcohol filled chocolate bar here from Germany, but I do like my winter warmers, especially in March. I’ve never had a margarita in my life, but this bar sounded nice, and I don’t feel enough companies utilise strawberry with chocolate so I was more than happy to have this.

This huge looking 100g bar is milk chocolate, and in the ‘capsule’ form that I’ve seen a few times now that we don’t have here in Britain. This one is a little different though. Instead of being a margarita liquid, this is quite a thick, sticky liquid, almost a fruity jam, but not quite as thick as that.

It’s definitely warming, and the strawberry taste is lovely too. The whole bar is great in fact. Just great chocolate, warm alcohol, fruity strawberry, all quality ingredients and a real pleasure to eat.

There’s definitely not enough strawberry bars around, and Lindt have proven here it can certainly be done, at least with a generous splash of margarita. Now to see if I can order one of these down the local bar…
