Ritter Sport Jamaika Rum Truffel

The name of yesterday’s bar didn’t take a genius to translate, and today’s takes, well, even less I suppose. Now the main difference between this edition and the orange truffle is that not only are they different alcohols, but this one actually has no flavour other than rum. No orange, strawberry, or any other random fruit, just straight up rum. Bottom’s up, fellas.

The front of the packet looks quite nice, it has a shot glass of rum there, next to what I assume is a truffle, and then a piece of the Ritter bar. I like how both Ritter and Milka do that on their bars, and they both have so many flavours as well, it must be great for chocolate fans in Germany to have two companies who put so much effort into creativity. I’m so jealous.

This particular edition seems to taste stronger than the Orangenlikor Truffel. Why exactly? Well I think it’s most likely because of the lack of flavour, like I mentioned at the beginning, all you’re getting here is rum. It’s nice and all, I don’t mind the rum flavour though it’s not a favourite of mine, and it’s quite strong. It certainly has a kick in the truffle, which is just as soft as it was yesterday.

If you like alcohol, straight alcohol, then this is for you, otherwise it’s probably not worth it.
