Seeds of Change Organic Apricot & Cashew Milk Chocolate Bar

How about that for a title. This is another one of those organic chocolate bars that donates money to charity as well. 1% of their sales go to the research and promotion of biodiversity and sustanaible organic practices. Well, not really charity then, but it’s still nice.
This particular bar is full-cream milk chocolate with Malataya apricots that have been dried naturally under the Turkish sun, and then ‘married’ with crisp cashews and folded into the chocolate.
I can imagine a young couple getting this, the woman looking at the bar and seeing the word ‘married’, then looking at the man and asking why the apricots and cashews can get married and they can’t, cue awkward conversation and break up.
Perhaps a little bit melodramatic, maybe if they ate the bar they’d be reunited, because it’s actually really, really good. It’s basically a posh fruit and nut bar, the chocolate is of a great quality, the cashews are big and crunchy and the apricots are soft and chewy, though some were also a little tough. It melts wonderfully in the mouth, and I’m surprised how much I enjoyed it. Definitely one of the best fruit and nut bars I’ve had, and it’s mainly down to the quality of the chocolate.

I tried this a few months ago, while the chocolate was nice, I found the apricots too chewy and rather pointless.

I haven’t tried this one, but love the orange and fig one, and i agree with you the chocolate is of excellent quality. I re-bought it solely because of the chocolate (and also because it’s on sale in waitrose)
