Thorntons Milk Chocolate Fudge Block

Another lovely boxed chocolate block. This one is 35% milk chocolate from Papua New Guinea with little pieces of fudge. Now supposedly, years of experience told Thorntons that the caramel flavours in soft fudge would perfectly compliment the honey-sweet notes found in Papua New Guinea milk chocolate.

The box is pretty much identical to the Toffee Block, except with a cream colour and ‘fudge’ written on the front. This bar does of course have 7% fudge pieces within the chocolate, again the same as yesterday.

Inside the box is the plastic wrapper with the same stuff written on, and in there is our milk chocolate slab. The slab doesn’t smell, or taste, quite as fudgey as I would like.

There’s just not enough fudge here. 7% toffee was just about enough but a bit more was needed, 7% fudge is nowhere enough though. There are a few pieces where you can really taste it, and again it tastes really really good, but there’s not enough of it. Please Thorntons, add a bit more fudge to this bar and you’ll be onto a real winner here.
