Goldkenn Cointreau Bar

I like how I ended the last review saying I wasn’t the biggest alcohol fan, yet here we are again with another alcohol filled bar. Coincidence, guys, I assure you. This is an officially licensed milk chocolate bar that’s filled with Cointreau liqueor, a brand I’ve never tried before.
Goldkenn is a Swiss company that seems to specialise in making bars like this, as I also saw a Jack Daniel’s version, but I went for this one instead. The box has a bunch of stuff in different languages, “l’spirit d’orange” I assume means orange liqueor or something along those lines, which is handy as I have no idea what Cointreau tastes like.
The bar comes in a very impressive looking box, and the bar itself looks almost exactly the same as yesterday’s Lindt bar, with the same flat bar with weird tab/pod things. Each pod is filled with Cointreau liqueor syrup (8%) and tastes orangy as well as being quite warming.
Overall, I again really enjoyed this. It almost makes me want to buy some Cointreau as the orangey liqueor was lovely and went perfectly with the good quality chocolate. Definitely makes me want to check out the other offerings from Goldkenn, and I feel myself on the edge of a cliff here, about to descend a slippery slope into alcholism…

Alcoholism? Come on, Terry. It’s all about practicing some restraint and enjoy a little liquor pod with coffee instead of a glass of whisky!

I bought this bar but wanted to know how many calories it have. My husband is on a very strict diet and I wanted him to share a bite with me. It’s not mentioned on the pack.
