Mint Chocolate Buzz Bites

Months ago when I reviewed the original Buzz Bites, I was quite unimpressed. The chocolate tasted low quality to me and the caffeine mixed with it made it a little bitter and I didn’t like the combination too much. The creator of Buzz Bites actually emailed me not even a day after posting the review and we had a bit of a discussion, and he decided to send me a few samples and see if other flavours would change my mind. Well, only one way to find out.
I do appreciate that the main draw of these is that it’s caffeine on the go with a bit more of a taste, and perhaps less of a social stigma than having a bottle full of caffeine pills with you. I do quite like my minty chocolate so I adjusted my perspective a bit for this review.
It looks almost exactly the same as the regular Buzz Bites tin, except with a green theme and a picture of a mint leaf on the front. Again, one chew is equal to one cup of coffee, and in exact terms that means each chew has 100mg of caffeine. Each chew is individually wrapped in some pretty thick foil, and the chews stick to them which is a bit annoying but hardly a deal breaker.
I’ll admit, these taste a hell of a lot better. The mint flavour is what you have here, hardly any chocolate at all. I couldn’t even taste the bitterness of the caffeine. I almost wanted to eat the entire tin at once until I realised that would be 600mg of caffeine in one go, and I just don’t think I’m manly enough for that.

As long as they taste ok, i would eat them. Mint chocolate is good, energy is good (and needed), what could go wrong?
