Thorntons Praline Bauble

The first bauble to actually have some information written on it, which means that for whatever reason Thorntons decided it’d be a good idea to not have every bauble look the same. Fair enough I guess.
So what information have they given us? Well, this is a “milk chocolate egg with hazelnut praline filling and crunchy sugar roasted almonds in the shell”. That sums things up fairly well then.
The chocolate shell does indeed have almonds in, which is a pretty nice touch, I like the look of it. The truffle is the regular, truffley stuff, it’s quite truffle-like and has a trufficilious flavour. Truffletastic.
These are a fairly standard nutty affair though. Not bad, not excellent, just kinda how you expect them to taste. Certainly enjoyable while they last but it’s another one of those things I’ve had so many times before.
