A massive 450g fruit and nut Christmas wreath here, according to the back of the box, “to slice and share”. As if.

The thing looks amazing outside of the box. Wreath shaped, of course, and designed with bells and holly leaves. There are also lots of bits of bright green, yellow and red within the wreath. Those are the bits of fruit and nut, which to be specific are pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, cranberries and raisins, all within 50% milk chocolate.

Even though it doesn’t look too thick in the picture, it really is. I could barely break it with my hands, the thing is huge. 450g of chocolate is a lot too, a hell of a lot. I ate one chunk and then realised I must have just eaten about 80g and suddenly felt quite sick. The chocolate itself was the usual Hotel Chocolat quality, which means it’s very nice.

The fruit and nuts are fairly plain, you can taste the hazelnuts whenever they’re bitten, in fact the same goes for all the nuts which is quite nice really, it gives it a lot of different flavours. Fruit of course is tougher, they’re all dried and lacking in flavour, but full of soft, chewy texture.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. It took me about a week to eat it on my own, but this is definitely something you could cut up and bring to your office party, or have with family. There’s loads there, it’ll last for ages.

Terry you big greedy guts! You ate the whole thing :O :O shocker! When I had this I shared it out with some of my friends … I was popular for the ten minutes it lasted! This product had an insane amount of fruit and nuts in! I thought it was possibly one of the best looking chocolate things I have eaten!

You guys are just jealous that you didn’t get to eat it all yourself. Don’t deny it.

Unfortunately you are right Terry :( I did regret sharing it a bit when one of friends starting picking out the nuts :S major fail on their part!

I ate this product on my own in two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It stated milk chocolate on the box but it was actually plain chocolate.
