Thorntons Chocolate Truffle Bauble

Following on from yesterday’s Champagne Bauble is a chocolate truffle bauble. This review will be a fair bit shorter because I covered most of the aesthetics in that review.
This is obviously very similar in looks, with a brown shiny wrapper instead of a silver wrapper. Again the packaging and information is very minimalist, they also mention it contains flavouring. Which kind? Nobody knows…
So once again we have a big lovely chocolate ball (that isn’t salty, hahahaha, comedy genius) with a thin chocolate shell, and a chocolate truffle centre. Now one thing that annoyed me a bit and that did happen with the champagne bauble, but I didn’t mention thinking it may be a one off, is that the truffle is quite loose from the chocolate shell. What this means is that you have to eat it very carefully, in small bits, otherwise you’ll bite a bit of shell, and then end up eating the entire truffle all in one before you finish the shell off on its own.
The bauble is quite nice though, the truffle is much richer than the regular chocolate shell, giving it a sort of double chocolate flavour. This is the plainest one in the collection but don’t take anything away from it, it’s very worthy of your attention.
