Hershey’s Candy Corn Kisses

November 20th, 2008 by Terry

Candy corn flavoured candy. I’ve never had candy corn in my life before so I have no idea what to expect with these. Like most Hershey’s kisses these are both naturally and artificially flavoured, though how much natural candy corn flavour can you get?

The pack looks pretty cool, it has a huge picture of some kisses, with white, orange and yellow stripes. I decided to research candy corn and found that it actually looks like this. Wikipedia doesn’t really explain what the taste is like, so I guess Hershey’s won’t be able to insult my taste buds too much with these.

I opened the pack up, and it smells so, so sweet. I’ve never smelled something like it before and I can’t try to describe it, it’s just sweet and, well, quite nice really. The kisses come in a yellow foil wrapper, and are themselves quite similar looking to pieces of candy corn. They have a yellow base, then there’s some orange above that, and it’s topped with white. It’s solid candy, and is of course very sweet. It tastes pretty much how it smells, which again is really hard to describe.

I guess in the end, it’s candy corn flavour. I don’t know how else to say it, I really liked them but I feel like I probably shouldn’t, but that’s probably because it’s Hershey. Are these an insult to candy corn? Possibly, but they’re still pretty good.
