Double chocolate fudge kisses from Hershey, with milk and dark chocolate. So, a fudge filling then? Well, nope. A fudge coating? Nope. Fudge mixed into the chocolate? Nope. “Where’s the fudge then?” I hear you asking, well…here’s the thing…lean in now because I have a secret to tell you…there isn’t any!

That’s right, a packet branded as double chocolate FUDGE has no fudge at all. Makes sense, eh? These are just the standard kisses with a little base of solid milk chocolate and then the top section is solid dark chocolate. No fudge in sight, so I propose these should be renamed to double chocolate bullshit kisses.

Why double bullshit? Well, one part of it is because of the marketing that’s gone into these, no fudge in sight. The other half is the actual taste of the kisses themselves. They look and taste like crap. The dark chocolate is all scuffed and is generally horrid to look at, and the taste is just so sub-standard, there’s no flavour at all and it’s just a disgrace to an already pretty disgraceful name in Hershey’s.

What more can I say? Basically Hershey’s should take these off the shelves and either bin them entirely or stick some fudge in there (they’d have a halfway decent product then) as this is just so, so poor. Stay well away from these. Well away.
