Hershey’s Chocolate Marshmallow Kisses

October 22nd, 2008 by Terry

Back to Hershey’s Kisses! Here we have chocolate marshmallow flavour, which is a solid milk chocolate kiss that has been flavoured with marshmallow. Simply artificially flavoured, the idea here seems a little weird as I don’t think marshmallows have much, if any real flavour.

The pack looks nice enough. There is a small picture of some marshmallows covered in chocolate on the front. There’s really hardly anything else I can say, as the rest is very generic and nothing specific relating to this flavour. Oh well, let’s just dig in.

The foil wrappers are silver and brown with a checked pattern. Open it up and you get your little milk chocolate kiss. As I mentioned it’s solid milk chocolate, and it has hence been (artificially) flavoured with marshmallow.

The flavour is…strange. Perhaps this is marshmallow flavour? I honestly have no idea, I guess it kinda is. It’s sweet and not greasy at all, some of them have a slightly toasted aftertaste which is interesting. While not particularly bad, I wouldn’t say these are too great either, definitely kinda meh. The flavour is really hard to describe but after trying some marshmallows again for the first time in years afterward, I guess the taste is kinda similar. It’s just not really that nice.
