Kraft White Toblerone

September 24th, 2008 by Terry

So I’ll preface by saying I’m not the biggest Toblerone fan, but I am bloody starving at the time of review so even cabbage would taste good right now (it usually makes me sick). A 100g white chocolate Toblerone bar, let’s do this.

For a 100g bar it certainly doesn’t look big. Oh well. We have our white chocolate pyramid shaped bar here with the usual honey and almond nougat (10%) thrown in. It’s a tried and tested formula of theirs and I can guess how this will taste already, so I figure we might as well just open this up and get it over with (remember, I’m fricking starving here!)

Well, now it looks big! With each piece having a letter on to spell out Toblerone (plus 1 or 2 to spare). You can see on the underside of the bar that the nougat is poking through the bar, and when a piece is bitten you can feel it sticking and breaking between your teeth.

The taste is somewhat plain. Yummy white chocolate, sure, but Toblerone doesn’t quite do it for me, it always feels like it’s somewhat lacking in taste for my liking. They big up the whole honey and almond thing but I can never really taste it, which is perhaps a good thing considering I’m not much of a honey fan (smite me now).

Overall, it was nice and it filled me up. Surprisingly it wasn’t too sweet, it was just about right and I can’t complain about it too much. I just wish I could taste the honey or the almond. Each 100g bar has 535 calories, 6.2g Protein, 61.5g Carbohydrates and 29g Fat.
