Milka Nougat-Créme
So here’s an interesting Milka bar…I guess. This one has nougat creme, and the picture on the front shows a dollop of chocolate with small pieces of nuts randomly placed on it. It also, as usual, shows a few pieces of the bar which looks as if it has a truffle centre with the chopped nuts in. Yum!
Not much else I can really comment on, as usual everything is in German which limits me a fair bit, oh well, let’s open this baby up.
So the underside is smooth, that’s a good start. This bar uses the “big chunk” format too. Basically Milka have two varieties in their 100g bars, one using smaller chunks and another using bigger chunks. They both weigh the same, just a different way of having the bars, I guess.
So I go to pull the chunks off and…boy is this bar soft! It reminds me of the Lindt Lindor bar with how soft it is, and when a piece was popped in my mouth the nougat creme almost squirted out at me, which again was similar to the Lindor bar.
As we ascertained, the bar has very small chopped nuts within the nougat creme. So the bar tastes nougatty and nutty, and absolutely delicious. It’s also quite rich, that’ll be the nougat creme. It’s a very soft bar and melts in the mouth oh so easily. I have to say I loved this bar, nutty bars are getting a bit old for me but this one did something different, and I congratulate Milka for it. Well worth checking out.
And here’s the article spoken just for you.
