Milka Ganze Haselnusse
Another day, another Milka bar, and here with our lovely Milka ganze haselnusse. Judging from the picture on the front I assume that means “with hazelnuts” or something similar, as the picture shows a few pieces of the bar absolutely riddled with nuts.
So there’s not loads more I can say without actually opening it up. The wrapper is the same as always just with the picture and text changed. I quite like the wrappers actually, they’re quite thick and sturdy and look like they’re made with a lot of quality, much better than Cadbury’s or anything like that.
So you open the bar up and you’re presented with…a bar that’s riddled with nuts. A tried and tested formula and one I’ve had a million and one times now, it’s smooth on the front side and messy and nut filled on the underside.
Like I said, it’s a bar I’ve had many other times and the taste was predictable. It’s nice, no denying it, it’s just boring and it brings nothing new to the “get a slab of milk chocolate and chuck a bunch of hazelnuts in it” market. Nice, but not worth importing at all, just go down your local shop and pick up a Galaxy or a Dairy Milk or something, unless you live in Germany of course!

Is Milka not widely available in the UK? You said it’s not worth importing which makes me think it’s not that common to see around. It’s in most supermarkets here and I love the ordinary one, but I find the hazlenuts in this one a bit too chunky for my taste.

Allie - I’ve only ever seen Milka in Woolworth’s and Waitrose, and I have reviews of the 4 bars I found coming up in about a month or so. I’ve never seen this one in England. Agreed the ordinary one is quite nice indeed.

‘Ganze Haselnüsse’ means ‘whole hazelnuts’ - but I’m sure you kind of worked that out by now!
