Divine Mini Chocolate Cookies
Alright, our final Divine review for awhile. These cookies follow the same pattern as the other two - a nice little pack filled with six chocolate cookies, made from 70% dark chocolate. These “premium Mini Cookies have a soft crumbly texture and are just perfect for that mid-afternoon chocolate fix!”
The bakery company who partnered with Divine for these is called Innov8tive Foods. That’s very clever, they put an ‘8′ where the ‘a’ would usually be and it sounds the same phonetically. Haha. That’s funny.
The ingredients look decent. Sugar is number 1, then we have unsalted butter, wheat flour and oats, and then we have our chocolate chips. Cocoa powder is further down but to be honest these were the ones I was looking forward to the most, as I think they have the biggest chance for a chocolate flavour and the least chance of cakeyness.
The cookies look nice. Again they’re bitesize, but only just about, and I felt kinda greedy for doing so. As soon as I put it in I was hit by a chocolate flavour, which very soon became buttery. Very buttery in fact, which then began to mix with the chocolate and the oaty taste that began to come in.
Butter seems to be the main taste here, which is kinda strange, but quite nice. It mixes well with the chocolate, but it is quite powerful and rich in its taste. Definitely my favourite of the three but depending on your tastes this could be the biggest hit or miss of them.
