Divine Hazelnut Milk Chocolate Bar
So I mentioned in Friday’s review that Divine did a Hazelnut bar, and here it is. This 27% cocoa solids, 90% milk chocolate and 10% hazelnuts 100g bar comes in a nice light brown colour, somewhat similar in appearance to the Coffee Milk Chocolate bar.
I won’t go into detail like I did with yesterday’s bar, but suffice it to say this bar falls into line in regards to Divine’s fairtrade policies. So read that review or their website if you wish to know more about that.
Getting straight into the bar, it is again somewhat scuffed on the backside, though like a few recent hazelnut bars I’ve had, the backside of it is riddled with nuts, poking through the entire bar. The nuts are very finely chopped, they resemble nothing more than minute (my~newt) pieces, which suits this bar better than, well…slightly bigger hazelnuts.
The hazelnuts are very evenly spread throughout the bar, from top to bottom and back to front there’s hazelnuts everywhere, and 10% is an extremely good amount, as the nuts can quite easily be tasted but mix very well with the chocolate, each piece being a chocolatey, nutty, creamy experience.
Overall, I have to say I really liked this bar. Hazelnut bars a dime a dozen here but this did a good job, and while I’m frankly a little bored of the combination, I gobbled this right up and would do so again.

Especially when it’s your backside that’s been riddled with them!
And thanks.
