Nestlé Green Tea Melty Kit Kat
The last melty Kit Kat to review, this is a Green Tea variety. Green tea is, for me, something of a hit and miss flavour with chocolate. I’ve seen it done well and I’ve seen it done bad, let’s see how this one goes.
Again, the classy box art returns. A rich black and green theme here, the colours blend well and it’s very nice to look at. Same situation chocolate-wise too, with the box containing two individually wrapped sticks, each the size of two regular Kit Kat sticks.
So obviously where yesterday’s had a white, apple flavoured cream in the wafer, today’s has a green, green tea flavoured cream. And like yesterday’s, it’s really very nice. The green tea certainly isn’t overpowering, it’s sweet and blends well with the chocolate, adding its own distinctive flavour in.
This is how green tea and chocolate should be. The green tea flavour should be there, but it should be well blended and not bitter, kudos to Nestlé for creating green tea chocolate exactly to my liking.

You must really… really… have a thing for KitKats or are you just doing the whole theme thing?
Japan has the best chocolate. No, I’m sorry. The best chocolate is everywhere but here.

Well I order 99% of my Japanese stuff from J-List, and everytime I go on there’s new Kit Kats there, so…I just try them, as they’re cheap and always look interesting. Not sure about Japan having the best stuff, America certainly has a huge, huge range, though Europe is surely where it’s at for top quality artisan chocolate.

maybe a huge range… but about the most creative chocolate there is over here is Butterfingers…
Which are sinful.

Where Oh where do you get all these fabulous Kit Kat and Japanese chocolates? I see you are in the UK so are these regularly available over there? LUCKY! We (americans) only get the one, rather plain regular KitKat and almost NO special editions, im so sad….Oh and I did click on the J-list link, GREAT selection of Japanese choc (but only one KitKat) with affordable shipping- bonus!

I get everything Japanese from J-List, it’s just a case of waiting for things to come into season. Plus with their shipping taking a few weeks, and then me taking another few weeks to review them after that, it usually is the case that by the time I review these they’ve disappeared from the website.
