So like yesterday’s Betta liquorice, we have here another log covered in chocolate. This time though, it’s apricot flavoured liquorice, so there should be a huge difference in taste.

I’ve had apricot liquorice before and was impressed, if done well it’s certainly quite pleasant, I’m not sure about it being covered in milk chocolate though. Again the packet impresses me, nothing offending there at all.

The bar is 75% apricot liquorice and 25% chocolate, and it tastes like it too. The apricot is definitely the main flavour, with the chocolate adding in a slight…well…chocolateyness every so often, though not enough to make me think there’s really a point to it being there.

It’s not bad, the chocolate is just a little pointless. I guess if you need a low calories chocolate fix with some additional flavour, this will be right up your alley.

Each log has 150 calories, 1.2g Protein, 29.1g Carbohydrates (20.6g of which sugars) and 3g Fat (2g of which saturates).
