Nestlé Sakura Kit Kat Little

April 12th, 2008 by Terry

Even though I’ve had the Sakura Kit Kat before, as soon as I saw these I just had to get them. I had the Sakura Cherry Kit Kat over a year ago, as part of Nestlé’s spring edition, and this year they’ve gone with a “little” edition.

I’m sure that we had Kit Kat Cubes here in England a few years ago, and this seems to be what they are. This is a pack full of white and pink tiny wafer cubes with cherry cream in the middle, and then covered in what’s either a coloured chocolate, or a yoghurt type thing. I’m not sure which.

The little cubes are bitesize, and whilst the idea may be to eat by the mouthful, when you’re importing these it’s not something you want to do, as it obviously makes the experience last nowhere near as long.

They’re very nice though, like yesterday’s Pie no Mi, this is fruity and fresh, and a perfect type of snack for Spring, which Japan have done perfectly. Per pack these have 194 calories, 1.3g Protein, 23.3g Carbohydrates and 10.7g Fat.

yes we definitly had mini kit kat bites a few years ago but i think they were little balls (har har) and not cubes. i seem to remember getting a present of a long line of packets joined together - about eight packets and you just ripped one off when you wanted a pack. but i think that was a sort of airport gift edition and you could buy single packs in the shop. i also remember the chocolate being unpleasant and cheap tasting unlike normal kitkats.
