Lindt Excellence Orange Intense

I’ve had a couple of the Lindt Excellence bars before and they never disappoint me, and when I saw this, I didn’t expect it to either.
The Orange Intense bar is a dark chocolate (only 47% minimum cocoa solids) with orange pieces (2%) and almond slivers (6%). Did I say this sounded good? After reading the ingredients I’m actually a little surprised and disappointed at those figures, let’s see how Lindt does…
Opening the foil wrapper reveals a bar full with well…orange pieces and almond slivers, I was greeted with a great smell, the combination of fresh orange and chocolate, rich, sweet and fruity and authentic.
Breaking a piece in half reveals the almonds really are just slivers, the orange and the dark chocolate are of course the main attractions of this bar. The rich, bitter dark chocolate, which tastes much more powerful than 47% cocoa solids, and the tart, sweet orange pieces mix together very well, the sweetness canceling out the bitterness, leaving you with nothing but delicious orange chocolate.
And when I say delicious, it’s no joke, the bar tastes great, though of course you have to be a lover of orange flavoured chocolate, and have to be able to at least deal with dark chocolate. If you can, you won’t be disappointed.
The entire 100g bar has 500 calories, 6g Protein, 49g Carbohydrates (46g of which sugars) and 31g Fat (17g of which saturates).

I actually don’t like orange chocolate, I think I ate one with coffee or toffee, forgot what it was but that was ok.

This reminds me of those chocolate oranges. I love them. I don’t know if you have them way over there - if not, I’ll send you one.
Probably my favorite chocolate ever.

You mean the Terry’s Chocolate Oranges? We have them, as well as a few others (Mint flavour, and a dark chocolate one too I think).

Don’t get me wrong dude, I’m not questioning the beauty, Lord of the Rings was shot there for a reason. I actually have plans to move there when I’m older, or at the very least to visit there, I was only messing with you.
