Galaxy Cookie Crumble
This Galaxy edition is only available in Tesco, and is part of their limited edition range, in which each major supermarket (Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s) gets one bar, and no others. I’m not sure why they’ve done this, but it’s certainly an interesting concept.
So on a very rare trip to Tesco, as soon as I saw this I had to pick it up. It’s described as ‘Signature Galaxy smoothness enhanced with pieces of chocolate cookie’, that sounds pretty delicious to me.
When opening the foil wrapper, you can see the bar is filled with lots of tiny cookie pieces. The bar was also incredibly soft at room temperature, and I had to put it in the fridge.
Personally I don’t see how the cookie pieces enhanced the bar too much, they add a crunchy texture and a tiny bit of taste (placebo effect perhaps), but the main taste is the Galaxy chocolate, which while good is not what I wanted from this.
Overall it’s a very nice bar, the Galaxy chocolate is nice and creamy, but I’m not seeing much of a reason for you to go out of your way to get this, unless you really want to try it just for the sake of trying it.
Per 46g (the bar is 119g) the bar has 252 calories, 2.9g Protein, 25.5g Carbohydrates (23.9g of which sugars) and 15.4g Fat (9.2g of which saturates).

I had a bar of this the other week and I loved it!! I now cant find it anywhere so am wondering if its been stopped now?????
I think its well worth it…and tastes realllllyyyyy nice dipped in tea

Without making a potentially stupid sounding comment, I assume you’re just looking in Tesco, right? As that’s where these are sold, perhaps try the bigger stores if you have one near you, I know they’re not in my local Tesco Express, but when I went out of my way to a big one, there they were.

I saw this in my Tesco this morning nearly picked some up but tbh it would jsut be sitting in my to do review pile for weeks.
As far as im aware though its still widely avalible. As Terry said try the bigger Tesco stores.

Ah yes, the review pile…I remember mine, though it’s practically disappeared now, there’s not much stuff left in English supermarkets I can review, which is worrying me a little bit. Enjoy it while it lasts.

this chocolate is absolulety beaut! my sis told me bowt it n i love it so much, its so much nicer than ordinary galaxy. Its on offer at tesco atm :p xx

i REELY disagree wiv dah review im lyk SO in LOVE wiv this CHocolate!!!!! Me and my friends finish tis in lyk 5 mins! its well worth it for your money and i just finished a bar thihs morning! wish i had some now… Buy in dah morning and eat asap thats when itll still be hard and crunchy x

There is no critisim to give. The Cookie Crumble is a Chocoholics Wet Dream. This New Galaxy far outwieghs the Hershey bar, hands down. Viva La Cookie Crumble

What a chocolate bar! Saw one in the shop and being a bit of a chocoholic, I thought i’d give it a try.
I was NOT disappointed.
The main review might be a bit disapproving, but seriously, try it for yourself!
Whack it in the fridge for about an hour or two, remove the bar, sit down, relax, put on some chillout music if need be.. unwrap and enjoy!
It’s a thing of beauty!
I’m off to the shop to buy another..

i go to tesco all the time but i have never seen this. i wish i could have tried this.

I thought this was the best bar ever, i tried it at a friends and then went to Asda, Sainsburys, 5 Co-ops a One Stop and a Aldays to find this and i could only see it at the co-op but only in the larger ones and they only sell the small snack bars. I want the huge bars but cant find them anywhere, now i think its worth going to Tesco to try it! im addicted

This chocolate is the best!.. i went to my local esso garage and saw it on the side and thought it sound tasty!. so i bought 1 and i cant get enough of them!! haha.. at first they were heard to find, but i got my local shop to stock loads in just for me

OMFG what a bar. It doesnt say anything about vegetarians but i checked the ingredients and there is nothing to worry about.

omg i love,love,love this chocolate its amaxing i totally dissagree with the review that person must have picked up the rong chocolate,, the cookie peices do loads its absoloutly gorge i love it so much i have to buy the big bars coz rthe smalls ones are never enough arhhh i need some more lol

Does the reviewer like chocolate at all? Seems odd a blog about chocolate and nearly every review is negative! Lighten up, stop whining and just enjoy the choclate
For the record I think this chocolate is delicious, and the cookie definitely adds a taste and more importantly the texture it creates is wonderful..a significant part of the enjoyment of food is texture anyway

I love this chocolate. Cant they put bits of Oreo’s instead of cookie bits. That would be the 2 best things combined, oreos and galaxy

I disagree also absolutely love it.. addicted you could say nice to have something different, what are the other flavours they’ve done? only been to tesco as its near.
