Galaxy Cookie Crumble
This Galaxy edition is only available in Tesco, and is part of their limited edition range, in which each major supermarket (Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s) gets one bar, and no others. I’m not sure why they’ve done this, but it’s certainly an interesting concept.
So on a very rare trip to Tesco, as soon as I saw this I had to pick it up. It’s described as ‘Signature Galaxy smoothness enhanced with pieces of chocolate cookie’, that sounds pretty delicious to me.
When opening the foil wrapper, you can see the bar is filled with lots of tiny cookie pieces. The bar was also incredibly soft at room temperature, and I had to put it in the fridge.
Personally I don’t see how the cookie pieces enhanced the bar too much, they add a crunchy texture and a tiny bit of taste (placebo effect perhaps), but the main taste is the Galaxy chocolate, which while good is not what I wanted from this.
Overall it’s a very nice bar, the Galaxy chocolate is nice and creamy, but I’m not seeing much of a reason for you to go out of your way to get this, unless you really want to try it just for the sake of trying it.
Per 46g (the bar is 119g) the bar has 252 calories, 2.9g Protein, 25.5g Carbohydrates (23.9g of which sugars) and 15.4g Fat (9.2g of which saturates).

I had a bar of this the other week and I loved it!! I now cant find it anywhere so am wondering if its been stopped now?????
I think its well worth it…and tastes realllllyyyyy nice dipped in tea

Without making a potentially stupid sounding comment, I assume you’re just looking in Tesco, right? As that’s where these are sold, perhaps try the bigger stores if you have one near you, I know they’re not in my local Tesco Express, but when I went out of my way to a big one, there they were.

I saw this in my Tesco this morning nearly picked some up but tbh it would jsut be sitting in my to do review pile for weeks.
As far as im aware though its still widely avalible. As Terry said try the bigger Tesco stores.

Ah yes, the review pile…I remember mine, though it’s practically disappeared now, there’s not much stuff left in English supermarkets I can review, which is worrying me a little bit. Enjoy it while it lasts.

this chocolate is absolulety beaut! my sis told me bowt it n i love it so much, its so much nicer than ordinary galaxy. Its on offer at tesco atm :p xx
