Cadbury Pinky

‘Marshmallow and caramel covered in DAIRY MILK milk chocolate’. Wow, DAIRY MILK? What a surprise, considering it’s Cadbury’s standard milk chocolate recipe!
This is marketed as a low fat chocolate bar, with 50% less fat per gram than the average of leading chocolate bars. I worry when a chocolate’s main selling point is that it’s low fat, as usually a company will skimp on flavour.
And that is basically what Cadbury have done here, the marshmallow is…ok, it’s marshmallow really, so what do you expect? It’s a plain, inoffensive strawberry taste. The caramel…well, I didn’t even know there was any until I read the pack, and the chocolate is DAIRY MILK chocolate, so you know what you’re getting there.
Overall, it’s ok. It’s aimed at dieters, so it’s good if you need a low fat chocolate fix, but if you’re looking for something of real good quality, look elsewhere.
Per bar this has 160 calories, 1.1g Protein, 30.2g Carbohydrates (24.7g of which sugars) and 3.4g Fat (2g of which saturates).

How funny, I had one of these just the other day. I found the pink marshmallow interesting for some reason, but what really got my was the fact that the caramel was really syrupy and managed to leak everywhere. Bah!
