Glico Double Chocolate Dessert Pocky

More dessert Pocky! Well, I rejoiced at least, as these are my favourite Pocky variants. This is a double chocolate version, which considering how thick and chocolatey dessert Pocky is already, has me planning a trip to the dentist as soon as I’ve finished with these.

This huge box has four packs inside, each with 3 equally huge, thick Pocky sticks contained within. Here we have the thick breadsticks, covered in milk chocolate, and then covered again in very thick chocolate once more in a pattern not too dissimilar to Marble Pocky.

Whilst with Marble Pocky the criss crossed layer was more embedded into the normal chocolate layer, this layer is much thicker and on top of chocolate already, hence double chocolate.

And boy is this good. Chocolate fans rejoice, this is your saviour. Thick, creamy, chocolatey, chocolatey, chocolatey. Another winner right here, Glico have done me proud this winter season, if you like your chocolate you will love this.

Each pack has 95 calories, 1.5g Protein, 10.8g Carbohydrates and 5.1g Fat. Highly recommended to Pocky fans, and to anyone who wants something sweet and good from Japan.

You’ve got a treat ahead of you. Take these slowly though, they’re worth savouring.

These were absolutely yummie! But beware when your at anime cons buying them. They have stickers on them saying that each pack is only 10 calories..they’re wrong..sadly.

I was at Narita a couple of days ago and picked up two boxes of Dessert Pocky before boarding my connection to Bangkok. I decided to enjoy them after the surgery and boy, did I not miss a beat. Today is the second day post-op and one box of my Dessert Pocky is gone, the other one is safe because it’s in my suitcase on the other side of the room and can’t walk on my own yet.
