Lotte Caramel & Almond Winter Pie no Mi

Lotte Caramel & Almond Winter Pie no Mi

I’ve previously had the maple pie version of this snack, and found it to be pretty delicious. Caramel and almond seems to me like it will be perhaps a little busy with its flavour, not that that’s a bad thing.

This is a limited edition winter season flavour, fitting nicely in with how Japanese snacks rotate by season. This is a box full of little pastries that have an almond latte white chocolate inside, and is then topped by a caramel almond syrup.

If that doesn’t sound awesome to you, then forget about this. These bite sized pieces taste excellent, like tiny, sweet pastry pies. The nutty, almond flavour mixes well with the caramel topping, and overall these are just…fantastic.

That’s 2 out of 2 now for the Pie no Mi range, I can’t wait to see what Lotte brings out next for them, highly recommended snack, just a shame it’s limited edition. The box has 439 calories, 4.8g Protein, 44.6g Carbohydrates and 26.8g Fat.

P.S. What they’ve come out with next is a Strawberry version, this shall be reviewed I assure you.
