Cote d’Or Milk Experiences

January 27th, 2008 by Terry

Creamy. Smooth. Smooth and intense milk chocolate. The words used to advertise this standard milk chocolate block bar from Cote d’Or.

Like the Lindt Swiss Classic bar from a few days ago, this is evidently a tried and tested formula from Cote d’Or, it’s not a particularly special bar and they know it, but ordinary milk chocolate bars have their own niche market and this is in it.

Bars like this are hard to comment on though. There’s really not much I can say, it’s basically how they described it - smooth and creamy. It’s a nice bar, the chocolate is a decent quality. I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t buy it again because it didn’t do enough for me, but I enjoyed it whilst it was there.

What else can I say? The cocoa beans are from West Africa, that’s good, right? Uhh…yeah, that’s really about it. The box is nice I guess, doesn’t matter much though does it?

Per bar this has 565 calories, 6.9g Protein, 51.5g Carbohydrates (50.5g of which sugars) and 36.5g Fat (22g of which saturates).
