Kit Kat Senses

Nestlé Rowntree is about to expand its confectionery range with the launch of Kitkat Senses, designed with young women in mind.

The chocolate wafer biscuit bar has a hazelnut praline centre and has been developed to offer females a special ‘me-time’ treat with just 165 calories.

The 31g bar retails at 45p and there’s a five-pack retailing at £1.39.

Product will be available from 10 March and a £9m support package breaks on 7 April with five-week national TV advertising campaign.

Sounds pretty unsubstantial to me - dont think it would fill me up..then again im not a ‘young woman’ am i ;)

    Ellie - Fortunately I know you’re not serious. ;)

James - Yeah 165 calories really isn’t much, then again…I’m also not a young woman, though that won’t stop me from reviewing this.

Ellie - Aww…*Pats you on the head* Well whatever makes you happy.

babycakes - Long time no see! You’ll just have to wait I’m afraid, nothing until March.

They market these as KitKat Temptations or some such here in NZ. The coconut eclair one is kind of good - think offspring of a KitKat Finger and a Bounty - the rest are pretty naff.

idk.. sounds like a kinder bueno rip-off to me.. that might be a good thing though :D

anabels - Ah yeah, I knew it reminded me of something. I’ve had two of those before, a hazelnut one and…something else that escapes me now. But yeah, they weren’t overly impressive despite being what seemed like a decent idea.

marit - Kinda, the bar will look similar but don’t expect it to taste as good. Probably a bit more chocolatey and wafery then a Kinder Bueno is.
