Lindt Crème Brûlée Petit Desserts

Another in the Petit Desserts range from Lindt, this is a particularly delicious looking bar, with caramelised pieces of sugar and a smooth milk and crisp biscuit centre inside the famed Lindt milk chocolate.
In other words, it’s the same thick Lindt chocolate as yesterday with a crème brûlée filling. The bar comes in the same box as yesterday with a lovely picture of a dish of creme brulee on the front.
The bar comes in the same foil wrapper, and is shaped exactly the same, with the same thickness as well. The milk chocolate is filled with a soft, white cream and crunchy biscuit. It smells very sweet and like yesterday’s bar, not really like much of anything, the taste is completely different though.
It’s very creamy and milky, with both a smooth and crunchy texture. The pieces inside are nothing like the ones found in a Toblerone, neither are they like bits of nuts you’d find in any such bar, these are instead crisp and crunchy and melt in the mouth, all in all a very pleasant experience.
Overall I liked this more than the Tiramisu bar. This is a challenging project by Lindt, in order to try and recreate desserts in the confined space of a chocolate bar, and cutting them some slack they’ve done an awesome job. I look forward to trying more if and when I can ever find them.
The entire 150g bar has 864 calories, 7.5g Protein, 78g Carbohydrates (76.5g of which sugars) and 58.5g Fat (36g of which saturates). Enjoy in moderation.
