Nestlé Heaven Cafe Latte

Nestlé Heaven Cafe Latte

Now this is surely going to be good. The standard Heaven bar – Swiss milk chocolate, filled with a soft truffle centre and a hint of coffee. On the back it says it has a mascarpone cheese and biscuit filling. Sounds…a bit different I guess…

The packaging is the same format, the bar is the same format. Nice cardboard box and foil wrapper, so let’s dig in, shall we? I couldn’t smell any coffee from the bar at all, I put my nose right up next to it and all I could smell was chocolate.

Cracking open the bar though shows the filling, which looks similar with its light brown colouring to the Hazelnut Creme bar. You can also smell the coffee now, only just about though, and the main smell is still just creamy.

And that’s pretty much what the taste is. Very, very creamy. It reminds me a bit of the Baileys truffles in that sense. There’s some sort of coffee flavour there but it seems very watered down and it’s definitely a Cafe Latte, rather than a Coffee, and considering that’s what they call it…what am I moaning about?

In the end I did really like this bar, it was very different and had a great, creamy and slightly coffee-like taste. Perhaps not enough for my liking but it suited the bar well. If you like coffee, but not the bitter type, this could be right up your alley.

Per 1/4 bar this has 144 calories, 1.7g Protein, 12.7g Fat (12.3g of which sugars) and 9.6g Fat (4.8g of which saturates).
