Ferrero Giotto

I saw these in my local Tesco over the summer being sold for 10p each and was thoroughly confused. Billed as nutty wafer bites with a creamy hazelnut centre, I failed to see what didn’t sound delicious about these. Massive over order, perhaps?
Regardless I bought about 10 of them and brought them home, these come in a strange pack, it looks like it’s harking back to the Roman days, with pillars and whatnot all over it. Inside the pack there are 5 of the said nutty balls (…too easy), which smell very similar to the Ferrero Rocher.
They look similar as well, a cream covered with chopped hazelnuts and a wafer, and the taste is just fantastic. Very hazelnutty, very creamy, and similar tasting to everything Ferrero puts out (Rocher, Bueno, etc). Absolutely top class stuff here, and for 10p? I wish I bought more of them!
If you can find these anywhere I highly suggest trying them out, basically it’s Ferrero Rocher only at a very affordable price.

I used to be able to get these in tesco and woolworths but havn’t seen them for ages. My daughter found some in Austria last week whilst on a ski trip!
If anyone knows where we can get them in London please let me know….
