Thorntons White Chocolate Bar

Thorntons White chocolate Bar

Plain enough for you? After a few busy sounding bars I thought I’d go for something simple today, and that’s an ordinary white chocolate bar from Thorntons, though they never make anything simple…

They don’t make much of a deal out of this, with it being one of their standard bars. All they say is that it uses full cream milk, so I’m expecting a creamy, rich bar that hopefully won’t be loaded with sugar.

Frankly, I’m not convinced that’s what I got. I remember first having this a couple of years ago and thinking it was amazing. Now it tastes just…ordinary. In a blind taste between this and a Milkybar Chunky I could not tell which was which. That either does the Milkybar justice or is insulting this, and I’m leaning towards the latter.

I used the Milkybar Chunky as an example because that’s what this bar resembles. The exact same shape, chunkiness, and as mentioned…taste. It’s a disappointment really that my fond memories are dashed, but it’s not the first bar to do it to me.

The (single serving) bar has 274 calories, 3.3g Protein, 29.8g Carbohydrates (29.6g of which sugars) and 15.7g Fat (10g of which saturates).
