Orange Chewits

Orange Chewits

This is the second in the Chewits range that I’m reviewing, and like the Strawberry flavour I can directly compare these with the orange flavoured Fruittella.

The packaging is obviously very similar to yesterdays, with an orange colour theme used instead of a red theme, obviously. One thing that really, really annoyed me about these was how bloody sticky they were. I could hardly open the wrappers because the sweets were so stuck to them, and I had to rip it off in tiny pieces. So annoying…

The sweets themselves, despite being so damn sticky and chewy and annoying to eat, aren’t that bad in flavour. They’re very sweet and tangy, and hurt my teeth again, but the orange flavour is very powerful and tastes like it’s from a concentrate. Granted it doesn’t taste like Tropicana or something, but it’s still quite pleasant.

Maybe I got a dud packet in regards to how sticky these were, but they honestly weren’t good enough to warrant me buying them again to check, and I don’t recommend you bother with these either. Each pack has 125 calories and 0.9g Fat.

I wish I could emphathise with you Dom but I tend to stick to the south of England, Barrow does not sound like a nice place though, I shall take your advice and stay clear of the bus station.
