Summer Fruits Fruittella

Summer Fruits Fruittella

The penultimate in the Fruittella series sees the Summer Fruits edition. These are made up of Strawberry, Orange and Lemon flavoured sweets, which doesn’t sound as summery as certain other fruits that could have been used, but they all sound good anyway.

I forgot to mention yesterday how many sweets you get in each pack, but in case anyone cared…it’s ten. In this pack I had 5 orange sweets, 3 lemon and 2 strawberry. Perfect really as I have already reviewed the Strawberry flavour so need no further confirmation on their flavour, but the other two I am interested in.

Just to confirm it, the strawberry one still tastes the same, a good strawberry taste, a little tame actually today but mouth watering and tasty.

The orange was a different affair. Much stronger taste, very natural as well. This really got the juices flowing and if I thought the strawberry was good then this was well…very good.

The lemon was much tamer again, it struggled to compete with the orange aftertaste, though what I could taste was lemon enough, and a good flavour if you’re a lemon fan, of course.

All eaten at the same time produces a surprising mix of flavour. I was expecting the orange to overrule but they all mixed together well to produce a single fruity taste that once again had my mouth salivating.

Another excellent addition to the Fruittella range. As for this being a summer array…I’m not so sure. I would have perhaps chosen other fruits, and certainly not the strawberry ones again as that seems a bit cheeky to me. But hats off to Fruittella because they’re extremely authentic with their taste.

If you’re doing the orchard fruits ones next, be warned, they are SERIOUSLY good :-)

Fruitella are out of starburst/chewit league :-)

I couldn’t find them anywhere, shame really because I really want to now that you’ve mentioned they exist. And agreed, Chewits and Starburst suck in comparison.

Finally some recognition for fruitellas! A superior chew.

There is sugar free ones that come in little chewing- gum style packs, better on the teeth athough not as flavoursome.
I also remember buying a ltd. edition sour pack a few months ago.
