‘Soft gums filled with liquid fruit juice centres’. I’ve never seen these anywhere except my local shop so I don’t know if these are a Co-Op only item, but anyway these are as they say: fruit filled gums with a juicy centre.

The three flavours on offer are apple, pear and cherry. Each is coloured differently and is meant to look like the supposed fruit as well, which they do a good job of. It’s no good looking like something if it doesn’t even taste like it though, is it?

Ok first off the apple flavour, starts off pleasantly enough, but when bitten into and the juice comes out the flavour changes suddenly, less apple and more strange, artificial taste. Not bad, but a bit…eh.

Pear flavour was pretty good, again the gummy tasted like pear, and the liquid centre less so, but more pearlike than the apple was applelike, and quite tasty.

As for cherry flavour, I think I’m gonna be sick, this flavour is horrid! What kind of cherries did Burton’s find? Stay away from this flavour, pretty rancid…

So there you have it, if you ever come across these then…I guess I don’t really recommend them that highly. They’re ok, but there’s better gummi based snacks around, and fruit based stuff, so these really aren’t worth it.
