Unsurprisingly very similar in design to the Caramel Choco Balls, are the Peanut Choco Balls, again from Morinaga of Japan.

Same deal with the box and basic candy design here. What you have is a whole peanut, covered in a small bit of wafer, and then milk chocolate. Simple enough, no?

I don’t like peanuts much but really liked these. The wafer between the chocolate and the peanut is something I don’t think you get with chocolate covered peanuts here in Britain, and I felt it just added a little crunch and seperation between the peanut and chocolate that was needed.

So personally I really liked these, whether it’s worth going to the effort of importing these when we have similar stuff in the local supermarkets I’m not so sure…but as with the Caramel Choco Balls, I assure you that you can do much worse from Japan, so this may be a safe option.

Like the Caramels, the box is 34g and the nutritional info is per 100g, so again per box these values will be about 1/3 of the figures I’m about to list. There are 575 calories, 13.1g Protein, 47.2g Carbohydrates and 36.9g Fat.
