More RJs! Hooray! As you can see this bag is pretty huge, it took about 2/3 of my laptop’s keyboard space, so I had to hold my camera pretty high to take a picture here, hence you can’t make out the message on the front of the pack, it reads:

‘Congratulations! You’re obviously having a red licorice day. Wisely, you’ve chosen mine. I scour the world to find only the finest ingredients. Enjoy! RJ.’ What a pleasant man. Do you ever see Nestlé saying ‘Congratulations’ when you buy one of their chocolates? Of course not, RJ’s is a family run business and it shows.

There’s a lot of licorice in this pack, even though that piece may look small, it’s not really, and there are 21 of them in here. All of them are identical looking, identical tasting raspberry licorice pieces. I’ve tasted the raspberry licorice before in log form, and this is no different.

It’s damn good, not artificial at all. Now granted it’s not like eating a handful of fresh raspberries, but it’s still so good. It’s quite easy to overdo it with these as well, so be careful if you do happen to find them anywhere.

Again I found these in my local campus shop, and haven’t seen them anywhere else, so good luck if you want to find them. It’s certainly worth it though, this is still the best licorice I’ve ever had.

Each serving is 3 pieces, and there are 7 in the pack. Each serving has 144 calories, 1.2g Protein, 32.8g Carbohydrates (11.3g of which sugars) and 0.6g Fat (0.16g of which saturates). As RJ says, ‘Enjoy!’

Ah, the joys of living in New Zealand, This stuff is all over the place. They do these little “bullets” of licorice (Raspberry or Plain) covered in chocolate. Unfortunately their strong point is licorice, and the chocolate isn’t that great.

I figured that’s how it would be. Still, I did like the chocolate they had in some of their licorice log bars.
