Nestlé Milkybar Chunky

I reviewed the Milkybar Chunky with Cookie Pieces from Australia a few months ago, and thought it was ok. It was just a chunky Milkybar with little biscuit pieces in, and was a little plain. Well, it gets plainer here with the Milkybar Chunky.
I almost felt like a kid buying this, until Nestlé reassured me with a message on the back of the pack, that this is ‘For Milkybar Kids of all Ages!’, well that’s fantastic news! I felt quite relieved after reading that, and took it back to my home and devoured it.
The results? It’s a Milkybar Chunky. How else can I describe it? Well, imagine ordinary white chocolate, make it a bit sweeter, and a bit creamier, and then make it into a chunky bar…and here you have the Milkybar Chunky.
The bar is made from 26% dried whole milk, as well as those tasty vegetable fats and cocoa butter, and with sugar first on the ingredients, you know you’re in for a delicious treat! I’m obviously being a little bit sarcastic, but actually it did taste pretty good. I quite enjoyed it, and unlike a lot of particularly sweet chocolate, this didn’t hurt my teeth, so I was glad for that.
The bar has 201 calories, 2.8g Protein, 21.3g Carbohydrates and 11.6g Fat. I recommend this if you like ordinary Milkybars, but always wished it were a little more…chunky.

you see personally i think this is where chocolate buttons come in handy cos little bits of white chocolate always taste nicer to me if there aren’t any biscuit pieces etc. the chunky is just a bit boring isn’t it? it’s as you say just a milkybar chunky!

i phrased that craply (and just made up the word craply) - i meant if white chocolate has no biscuit pieces in it, then i only like small bits of the plain white stuff cos large bits are all powdery tasting. doh

I much prefer the thinner version……..i like the texture and the picture embossed onto the chocolate! i hope embossed is the right word….i really shouldnt try to be eloquent…..now lets hope that eloquents the right word!

ellie - I’m not sure about the powdery taste but what I find is that if white chocolate is too thick then it usually has too much sugar in and it hurts my teeth. So in that aspect I agree that small forms of it like the buttons are better.
alice - I prefer the thinner version as well for basically the reasons I just gave to ellie. Embossed and eloquent are in fact correct, you live to fight another day.

I prefer the thin and the buttons, because they last longer and are less effort to eat!
