Nestlé White Crunch

White Crunch

The only other Crunch variety available in Britain is this: The White Chocolate Crunch. It’s exactly the same in branding, shape, etc. as the Crunch, only…it’s white.

The similarities continue inside the packet too - the same long bar, the same patterns and etchings, except it’s white chocolate as opposed to of course, milk chocolate. The amount of crisped rice used is slightly less (15% in the normal Crunch, 10% here), but I honestly noted no difference until I actually read that on the pack.

The good thing about white chocolate is that you know where you are with it, no matter how expensive it can be, if you don’t like it then you don’t like it. That’s the case with the White Crunch as it’s ordinary, ordinary white chocolate with some puffed rice, I like white chocolate and so I enjoyed this, if you don’t then you won’t. Very simple.

Again I think the puffed rice makes the bar a little crunchy, and I think it’s pretty awesome. Like the normal Crunch, there’s no nutritional information here. Maybe we should petition Nestlé to put it on the packs?

I found out that for a 31g bar of the white crunchie there are:
    160 calories, 2.3g protein, 18.8g carbs, 8.6g fat and 0g of fibre.

Not too sure about the milk chocolate, it must be around the same ammount?

I’ve never really even considered buying Crunch bars, they just seem so plain, the way they’re packaged, the fact they’re just rice crispie cakes in a package…
But I might try them out next time I see them. :)

Ta very much for that Rachel! The milk chocolate is probably nearly identical, they are indeed incredibly plain with their packaging and even their taste to an extent, but I still like them. I do suggest checking them out at least once.
