Nestlé Kit Kat Chunky

I was surprised to find that after all this time I still hadn’t reviewed the ordinary milk chocolate Kit Kat Chunky, despite all the other Kit Kats I’ve reviewed, so figured I might as well rectify that posthaste, and so here’s the review of…the Kit Kat Chunky.

Like the Yorkie, this is a bit of a manly bar, it’s a very thick wafer bar, essentially just a giant Kit Kat stick. In fact, that’s exactly what it is, so it’s pretty easy to describe this.

Basically just imagine an ordinary Kit Kat stick, with the chocolate covering the wafer and chocolate layers, and increase the size of it tenfold, and you have a Kit Kat Chunky. It tastes the same as a Kit Kat, only that the bar is of course much bigger. I quite like these, but the Peanut Butter variety is so much better, making these almost obsolete as far as I’m concerned.

Each bar has 263 calories, 2.6g Protein, 31g Carbohydrates and 14.3g Fat.

i don’t like peanut so i prefer this one, but i don’t buy it very often because although the texture is super satisfying , i find it too sweet - have you noticed it has that same sweet layer as in a drifter? it’s a nestle phenomenon! it’s one of those bars/biscuits that everyone has their own way of eating too - around the edges, top layer than eat the rest normally! ooh…now i want one.

ellie - I hadn’t noticed the similarities between this and the Drifter otherwise I’d have mentioned them! Is that your way of eating it then? Annoyingly enough for a review I have to break it into sections and eat them in different ways, so part of it will just be munched down, other parts will be split up and so forth. It’s not as easy as you might think. <.<

alice - Darn tootin’! The Peanut Butter ones are fantastic and I feel for anyone who can’t enjoy them, I haven’t had many since I stopped buying chocolate that I’d already reviewed but every now and then I’ll get a multipack or two if they’re on offer and fall in love all over again.
