One of Cadbury’s oldest products is this, the Dairy Milk with Caramel. To have grown up in Britain without ever having this at some point would be a travesty, as it’s such an instituionalised chocolate.

Nowadays it seems to be a bit of a shell of its former past. Now it’s just another Dairy Milk edition, the same packaging as the rest of the bars. Only this one has yellow colouring because of the caramel. I can understand Cadbury wanting to have the same packaging for these types of bars, but it makes them all very samey and boring looking.

The bar is standard Dairy Milk fare, it’s the long bar with the breakable pieces, and each piece has a small amount of caramel inside. Is it good? Yeah, it’s fine, it’s sugary as all hell but it tastes pretty good. The caramel isn’t too runny or too thick, it’s just about in the middle and suits the bar perfectly, but I’m finding it a bit tough to get too excited over this though for some reason.

I don’t know if that’s my fault or Cadbury’s, but there’s just hardly anything I can say about this. It’s milk chocolate…with caramel, that’s really all there is to it. I’ve reviewed those types of bars before and I’ll sure as heck review them again, so yeah…what else can I say? I guess if you like caramel, and you like Cadbury’s chocolate then you’ll like this. It’s a decent tasting bar, and is nice and cheap, but there are more exciting products out there. Where I work, I don’t see this actually getting sold too much, so perhaps a lot of people are bored of these types of chocolate…
