A Sweet Sweet Indulgence Contest

Smores

The first competition to ever grace The Chocolate Review! Another step up the ladder for me, and how could I resist this? Earlier today I received an email from the awesomely named ‘Bear Silber’, owner of the recently formed Sweet Sweet Confections, based in San Jose, California. Only a local confectionery manufacturer currently, Sweet Sweet Confections are moving up in the world, with an online ordering store as well, currently stocked with only four products, but you can bet your boots there’ll be a lot more soon.

So, what is the contest, you’re asking? Well, basically it’s being able to eat as much chocolate as you can in 3 minutes. Fantastic! The chocolate must be the Sweet Sweet Smores Bars that can be bought from the website, but! If you are able to win the competition then not only do you get reimbursed all the money you spent (so place a big order if you’ve got confidence!), you will also receive $50 in cold hard cash, $25 worth of Sweet Sweet Confections…sweets, and get your name printed on the website so you can be proud of your achievement of gluttony!

A coupon code can also be used to get 25% off all orders of the bars in order to make things a little cheaper for you, the only downside to this whole thing is that it’s America only, otherwise you’d be watching me stuffing myself in the name of chocolate. More details can be found at the link given at the end of this article, along with the additional rules (nothing bad, don’t worry) and various other things. Small chocolate companies usually have higher quality than mass produced corporate companies, as I have found out myself over the 6 months I’ve been doing this for. Even if you don’t plan on taking part in this, then use the 25% coupon just to get some cheap, but good quality chocolate.

The website and additional competition details can be found here:

And of course in return for this, I will be trying out some of the Sweet Sweet Confections products within the next month (or so). Definitely something to look forward to! Peace out, chocolatiers!
