RJ’s Natural Licorice Log

Just when I thought I’d never have the pleasure of eating RJ’s licorice again, my shop goes and gets more varieties in! This is the original licorice log, ‘made with the finest licorice root’, it’s ’soft eating’, and you know it’s gonna be good.

And by gum it is, strong licorice flavour, but sweet and absolutely delicious. Very soft, and I couldn’t take a picture of it, but when I tried to hold the log between my fingers (don’t read that part out of context) it started to bend and I had to adjust it a few times. So it’s very soft indeed, which is totally different to poor quality licorice, which is usually rock hard.

So yeah, it’s a long licorice log, that tastes like licorice and is probably the best licorice I’ve ever had. RJ’s are a wonderful company and if you live in New Zealand then you’re a lucky so-and-so. If you like licorice and can find these, you can do no better, they’re wonderful.

Each licorice log has 144 calories, 1.2g of Protein, 32.4g of Carbohydrates (11.9 of which sugars) and 0.72g of Fat (0.44g of which saturates). So wonderfully low in the bad stuff as well.
